The story of Yuuko, a witch with many secrets and her meeting with a boy who can see spirits, Watanuki Kimihiro, made XXXHOLiC one of the darkest but funniest stories of CLAMP ever.

Without the pink and sweetness of Chobits and Card Captor Sakura, also with a deep use of Japanese folklore, XXXHOLiC is a joy to read that keep a philosophy of 'to gain something, a price must be pay'. Aso, the story has many crossovers with many of the CLAMP series: Yuuko has the Sakura's wand, Watanuki has visited the Kakei's drugstore, Yuuko had a mechanical bird of Clover and of course, she knows Clow. One of the most important crossover is with Tsubasa Reservior Chronicles, Yuuko has helpeled more than once Syaoran and company.
